On 21st of June 2022, Michael Brunthaler successfully defended his thesis on “Pulsed-laser growth of La0.8Sr0.2MnO3 on SrTiO3(001)”. He is the first student member of TACO to graduate. Congratulations!
Asked about his plans after becoming TACO’s first Diplom-Ingenieur, Michael said:
“After finishing my studies, I found a way to combine my technical expertise with my passion for music. In the future, I will be developing strings with new materials for string instruments. All while staying in Vienna, which is a world famous cultural hotspot for classical music.”
